This site also give the name of the principal, grade span, number of students, teachers and professional staff, students/teacher, average class size, discretionary money / student, technology measure, number of computers, it it has internet access, library and media center. National Center for Educational Statistics- Gives the same information as the School Digest, in a different format. In addition to public and private schools, you can also search for colleges and public libraries. A chart comparing student:teacher ration to the national average is given, as well as a charts showing the enrollment by race/ethnicity, enrollment by gender, number of students on lunch programs and migrant students. You can also view information for the distric, including number of diploma recipients, revenue and much more

On line courses - Do your teens need to take courses that their local school doesn't offer? Enroll them at either the Virtual High School or the Florida Virtual School. Your child can take a single course or a series of them across a wide range of topics. These fully accredited learning institutions educate thousands of students nationwide, but in order for your children to get class credit on their transcripts, they need to sign up through their high school.
